Lawmakers complete their task and adjourn, leaving Schwarzenegger to sign or veto their legislation. Before adjourning Wednesday, the Legislature passed 962 bills and sent them to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. He has acted on some and has until Oct. 21 to sign or veto the rest. |
