NU in talks to reuse Lake Shore building The Chicago developer who has a contract to buy the former Lake Shore Athletic Club from Northwestern University and tear it down to erect luxury condominiums has temporarily shelved his plans, while the university has opened talks with other developers who propose reusing the venerable building, both parties said Thursday. |
