The Company's principal activity is the distribution of drinking water to households and industrial plants in Alessandria, Aosta, Asti, Cuneo, Mantova, Novara, Savona, Turin and Verbania. Other activities include sewage treatment, water purification and gas distribution. The Company serves 172 districts with water and gas. Water sector accounted for 91% of 2001 revenues; gas sector, 5% and other, 4%.
