Baker (Michael), Corporation. The Group's principal activities are carried out through three divisions: Engineering, Energy and Non-Core. The Engineering segment provides a variety of designs and related consulting services. Services include design-build, construction management, consulting, program management, site assessment and restoration, strategic regulatory analysis, regulatory compliance and advanced management systems. The Energy segment specializes in providing a full range of technical services for operating energy production facilities. The services include training, personnel recruitment, pre-operations engineering, field operations and maintenance, mechanical equipment maintenance and supply chain management. The Non-Core segment consists of buildings and transportation construction operations. The Group has operations in Texas, Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico. Engineering accounted for 60% of 2002 revenues; energy, 40%; and non-core, nominal.
