Energizer Holdings Incorporated. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and market a line of primary alkaline and carbon zinc batteries, miniature batteries, flashlights and other lighting products. It also markets a line of rechargeable batteries for retail sale to consumers. The products are used in consumer and industrial applications. The trademarks include Eveready, Eveready Alkaline, Energizer, Energizer Advanced Formula, Energizer e2, Energizer Max, Energizer Bunny and the Energizer Man character. The Group markets its products in more than 140 countries primarily through a direct sales force, and also through distributors, to mass merchandisers, wholesalers and other customers. Its international operations are located in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and South and Central America. Alkaline Batteries accounted for 68% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Carbon Zinc Batteries, 14%; Lighting Products, 6%; Miniature Batteries, 4% and Other, 8%.
