ConAgra Foods Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and market processed and packaged foods. It operates in four segments: Packaged foods, Food ingredients, Meat processing and Agricultural products. The Packaged foods segment processes and packages shelf-stable, frozen and refrigerated foods for retail and food service customers. The Food ingredients segment provides processed seasonings, blends and flavorings, as well as grain-based items that are processed for ingredient use. The Meat processing segment includes chicken processing operations. The Agricultural products segment distributes agricultural crop inputs as well as agricultural merchandise. Brands include Healthy Choice, Butterball, Banquet, ORville Redenbacher's, Slim Jim and Reddi-wip. In Sep-2002, the Group sold a controlling interest in its fresh beef and pork operations. Packaged foods accounted for 45% of fiscal 2002 revenues; Meat processing, 36%; Agricultural products, 13% and Food ingredients, 6%.
