Atria Inc. has merged with ARV Assisted Living to form Atria Senior Living Group. Though the new company is larger, it continues to operate retirement and assisted-living centers for the well but frail elderly, who may need assistance with routine daily tasks but not skilled nursing care. Atria Senior Living Groups' services range from independent living units in a private apartment setting to more specialized care facilities for residents suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The new company, which is a subsidiary of Prometheus Assisted Living, owns or manages about 130 facilities in 28 states.
Atria Assisted Living is retirement living that provides a sense of place, companionship, comfort, security and belonging.
