It’s easy to think that all celebrities are spoiled and selfish but here is a list that proves that along with looks, talent, and money, these famous names have got huge hearts when it comes to helping others.Brad Pitt – After Hurricane Katrina, Pitt started the foundation, Make it Right, to help families rebuild their houses and lives in New Orleans. He and his partner, Angelina Jolie, donated more than $8 million to various charities in 2006 alone.
George Clooney – After the earthquake in Haiti in January 2010, Clooney used his celebrity status to organize a telethon that raised more than $57 million for the relief effort. He also regularly travels to Africa to bring attention to human rights violations in Darfur.
Angelina Jolie – Jolie is not only a beautiful actress and a busy mom to six kids – she’s also one of the most charitable people around. Since 2001 she has been a Goodwill Ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees and she and Brad Pitt founded the Jolie-Pitt Foundation which assists in global humanitarian crises. She also donates millions of dollars to charities each year.
Jenny McCarthy – After her son was diagnosed with autism, the former Playboy Playmate became a strong voice in the campaign to bring awareness to the disease.
Matt Damon – Damon is the founder of H2O Africa, a foundation whose goal is to ensure that the people of Africa have clean drinking water. He is also an ambassador for ONEXONE, a group who works to improve the lives of children around the world.
Justin Timberlake – Timberlake is involved in many causes such as AIDS and homelessness and he hosts an annual golf tournament and concert in Las Vegas that raises money for sick kids.

Leonardo DiCaprio – Leo passionately supports many causes including the environment, conservation and children’s issues. In 2007 he wrote and narrated the film, The 11th Hour, a documentary that looked at the state of the global environment.
