Presentations: With YouTube, Without Distractions

Share

One of the best additions to the Microsoft brand was Microsoft Office. With every application needed to do anything professional for school or work, it is attempting to fall in line with each generation without a sweat. What is the newest feature behind the Office creation? Powerpoint has now added a “Youtube” button that allows you to immediately insert a video onto the slide to preview without all of the lagging out that comes with trying to insert a link in versions thus far.

Presentations are important and Microsoft Powerpoint allows one to focus more on the information they are trying to relay to their audience by offering a visual aid that is easy to follow. But with college students using Office more and more, Microsoft decided to come out with the “Youtube” button to try and keep up. They are having no issues with this at all. With the launch of this feature is has been nothing but a complete success simply through the word of mouth.  Initially questions may have been raised about combining a professional workshop with a public webpage where there are no limits on who can upload videos. But once the success was made clear, there was no backing out for Microsoft.

The basic download and installation instructions can be found here. If anyone was every second guessing downloading the software onto their computer, keep this in mind: no more lagging out during a presentation, no more waiting for the internet connection to load the video, no more trying to get the link to work to reach the video. It is already in your presentation and allows one to stay focused on the task at hand. Worth it for sure.

  1. Well Thanks for sharing this, do you mean that we can share the heavy presentations as well. The only problem I can see with Youtube is downloading time and slow streaming for slow internet connection.

  2. This will be great for sure
