According to analysts, online games have become popular mostly because of the increase of popularity of social networks and because smart phones are also getting more popular. Facebook is one of the main “Suppliers” of social games. Some of the other popular games on Facebook are Mafia Wars or Happy Aquarium.
According to estimates, online transactions for purchasing different applications and products for online games, like a gas tank for the virtual ranch, will generate this year up to 800 million dollars.
