We well know the fact that Google Chrome has the habit of burning it’s versions. In less than two years since the release of the first version, Chrome burned no less than six versions, and now we are facing the 7th one.

Google likes to introduce new features gradually. They don’t necessarily keep them for major updates. This is why the 7th version doesn’t mean much regarding the visible changes. Anyway, we are talking right now about he Google Chrome 7 development version, not the final one.

So, Chrome 7 comes with new features. It fixes some bugs, improves the stability and includes a plugin named NaCL ( Native Client ). NaCL is a technology that allows application developers to use the same code for desktop programs.

In other words, developers will be able to create much more complex web applications, that might compete regarding interface and functionality the the applications created for our computers. It’s just what Google Wants: to move the focus from classic operating systems to online ones. And this is the direction we are headed to anyway, like it or not.
