E.T. best family movie of all times

E.T. ( 1982 ) directed by Steven Spielberg was chosen as the best family movie of all times, according to a pool conducted by Radio Times.

The movie impressed many generations and tells the story of a 10 years old child that makes friends with an alien that arrived on Earth. E.T., with Henry Thomas and Drew Barrymore in the cast, was a huge box office success. He was the first at the box office for six consecutive weeks.

On the second place we can find the Wizard of Oz movie ( 1939 ) directed by Victor Fleming, and the third place is taken by Mary Poppins, directed by Robert Stevenson in 1964.
