British scientists have discovered that a protein in the chicken’s womb is essential for the creation of eggs, so they gave their verdict: the check was first before the egg.
This is a question that has been around for centuries, and which made generations of people think: which came first, the chicken or the egg?
British scientists claim that now they have the final and definitive answer: the chicken! They have discovered that a protein that is present in the chicken’s womb is essential for the creation of eggs. As a consequence, an egg can only exist if it was created inside a chicken, researcher from the Sheffied and Warwick Universities said.
The protein in question accelerates the formation of the egg’s crust, which plays an important role in protecting the egg’s core.
” For a long time it was considered that the egg was first, however we managed to prove that the situation is just the way around” said Doctor Colin Freeman from the Sheffield University.
“The protein has been identified before, however we proved the way in which the protein works” Freeman also said.
