The actress who will play Oprah was not selected yet.
The 25 years of TV career of Oprah Winfrey will be the subject of a movie for TV.
Producer Larry A. Thompson said that the two or maybe four hours movie about Oprah will be based on the biography written by Kitty Kelly.
The movie will be released on September 2010, same time when Oprah’s show will end.
Thompson produced other biographic movies about Lucille Ball and Desi Amaz, but also movies about Sonny and Cher.
“The casting for the actress which will play the role of Oprah will be a real challenge. We will audition famous actors but also unknown ones ” said Thompson.
