Around year 2000, only 2 years after the release of the revolutionary StarCraft game, fans from all over the world were anxiously waiting for another release. There were rumors that StarCraft II is going to be released soon, but from they were only rumors and until they got confirmed a lot of time has passed. Only in 2007, Blizzard announced that they are working on a new episode of StarCraft, episode that eventually has become a trilogy. The first part, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty has been released today. For almost six months now, Starcraft fans from around the world have played the beta version of the game, for free.
Everyone of us who played StarCraft II beta have found many similarities with the first StarCraft game, but also many new additions and improvements, one of them is of course the graphics.
Until we manage to get our hands on the StarCraft II Final game, we have to mention, especially for people who didn’t got the chance to test the Beta version, that the beta version was strictly oriented on the Multi player mode, a mode that was very well built, so the mystery about the Single Player scenario still remains. A scenario that will continue the storyline of the first StarCraft game.
We will be able to tell you more after we get a chance to play the new StarCraft game. Then, we are going to pay more attention to the Multi player mode, a mode where hard core fans have discovered a lot of new tactics that will make confrontations between Terrans, Zergs and Protos much more interesting. Maybe the introduction of a forth race would have lighted up the fans passion even more, but Blizzard didn’t wanted to deviate from the original concept.
