NASA Robot solves the mystery of a murder

A murder took place in 1991 in California, US, that remained unsolved until now because of lack of evidence. A year ago, the case was reopened and the mystery was solved with the help of state of the art technology.

And not just any state of the art technology, but a highly advanced NASA robot, which was especially used to solve this case. The Rover Senseta MAX 5.0. It was brought the to crime scene to perform magnetic scans of the field, searching for evidence that might have been buried or ignored.

Although more than 18 years have passed since the murder took place, the surprise was that, after the robot processed the collected data, some traces of a vehicle ware found, which eventually lead to the discovery of the killer.

It looks like the killer was the victim’s boyfriend at that time. He was sentenced to ONLY six years in prison.
