Lindsay Lohan did not respected the terms of her probation
Lindsay Lohan has burst into tears the moment she heard her sentence: 90 days in jail, because she hasn’t respected the terms of her probation.
Judge Marsha Revel sentenced Lindsay Lohan because she didn’t took seriously the terms of her probation for two cases in 2007, when the actress was caught driving under the influence.
Lindsay Lohan will start her sentence on July 20, and after she is released from jail she has to take part of a program, for 90 days, a rehab program for people with drug abuse problems.
Lindsay protested in tears because she didn’t realized that she didn’t fulfilled all the terms of her probation, and her busy work schedule prevented her from respecting the terms.
” I took my probation seriously. I didn’t expected any special treatment. It’s my life and my career, something I have worked for my entire life” she said.
On May 26, 2007, the actress was in a car that crashed a fence on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. After 2 months she was arrested in Santa Monica for driving under the influence of alcohol. She spent 84 minutes in jail and was released on probation for three years. The sentence was prolonged for another year on October 2009.
In May 2010 she missed a court hearing because she was at the Cannes Film Festival, and on June 6 the anti alcohol bracelet she had on indicated that she consumed alcohol, which was against the terms of her probation.
