Samsung created an AMOLED display that seams to be indestructible.
So indestructible that it can handle repeated hammer hits, without getting a scratch on it.
Don’t think that this display is manufactured using Superman’s kryptonite ! Samsung used a much common material: a thin sheet of plastic, dressed in a special polyamide roll.Although it can handle hammer hits, from what we can see the display can’t also handle falls. If you drop your phone on the ground, the display will break, but at least you will still have a functional touch screen under all the glass cracks.
According to Samsung, the new displays will be available on Samsung mobile phones starting with this year.
