If you have some favorite web sites that you wish to access very fast and you don’t want to set them as a home page for different reasons, our suggestion is to create shortcuts to them on the Desktop, or even place them in your Taskbar, this way you can open them with a simple click any time you want or ignore them when you have no reason to visit them.

How to create shortcuts to your favorite web sites

- right click on Desktop and select New from the menu, then Shortcut

- based on your favorite browser that you used to surf the net, in the Type the location of the item field type the path to the respective browser, For example C:\Program File\Opera\opera.exe and then type address of the web site you want to open with the help of this shortcut.

- Click Next to pick a name for your shortcut and then click on Finish ( if you want you can also add a personalized icon ).

- to add the shortcut of a web site in the Windows 7 Taskbar you only have to drag the respective shortcut over the taskbar ( drag & drop ) or right click on it and select Pin to Taskbar option from the menu.

That’s it! From now on you will be able to open a web site directly from your taskbar, without setting the web address as a favorite.
