The money rewards for users to find bugs in different software applications is not a new tactic from developers. Mozilla for example, uses a strategy like this for a long time now. Now, Google also pays users to find bugs in Google Chrome web browser.

Google wanted to also transform this into a competition. Mozilla promised $3,000 for users who find bugs in Firefox. Google took it up a notch and promised $3,133 dollars to those who find serious Chrome problems.

For hackers, this offer that came from Google to find bugs in Google Chrome represents ” easy money” because there always is a way to find bugs in web browser.
