China might ban access to social networks

Social networks that offer microblogging services like Twitter, might be banned in China, after access to these services has been cut off repeatedly in the last few days.

These mysterious “bans” to social networks fueled a series of speculations within the Chinese internet users, who are afraid that the authorities might decide to ban them on more permanent basis.

China, a country with more than 400 million Internet user, has create a huge censorship system for information access which is actually named ” The big wall” dedicated to work as a filter of information considered to be “sensible” or politically dangerous.

This wall of censorship has already block access to sites like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
