Although there are many problems, more and more advanced, which help you to change the settings of your operating systems so you can increase the performance on your system, there are a few Windows 7 users that know that there is a Performance Troubleshooter integrated in this operating system that allows users to identify the causes for which your computer’s performance is low. Further more, it adjusts the system’s settings so you can eliminate the performance problems.

To verify if your Windows operating system has performance problems, or if you are aware of this and want to find out the causes, follow the steps below:

- open Control Panel and click on Find and Fix Problems, under System and Security

- in Troubleshooting click on Check for performances issues, then click onĀ  Next and wait until all the settings of your system are being verified.

- after the problems are being identified ( in case they exist ) and solved, you will be able to check a detailed report of the verified settings, or you can close the troubleshooter.
