The MegaCity car will be made out of carbon fiber, just like Formula 1 cars.
The first electrical car from BMW is on its way! Megacity Vehicle, which will be released in 2013 is made out of carbon fiber and aluminum and it will be built using the LifeDrive structure, strong as steel, however 50% lighter than aluminum.
The electric engine will be placed behind the car. Batteries, the most heaviest components of the vehicle will be placed under the aluminum chassis.
BMW also said that the car will have 35 KWh lithium-ion batteries and the design will be sportive and stylish. The company underlined that the car will be pretty expensive.
