The third part of the Toy Story franchise has become the number one animation movie because of grossing in the first day in the United States. The Pixar movie grossed only on Friday 41 million dollars, according to Box Office Mojo. The prior record for the opening day was held by Shrek the Third, with 38.4 million dollars.
Toy Story 3 was released on 4025 movie theaters, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D formats.
According to estimates, it looks like by the end of this weekend, Toy Story 3 will gross around 120 million dollars only in the United States alone.
In the Toy Story 3 animation movie we can hear the voice of actors Tom Hands, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Ned Beatty, Don Rickles, Michael Keaton, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger and it is directed by Lee Unkrich.
