Summit Entertainment announced that the story of the last Twilight novel, Breaking Down, will arrive on the big screen in two parts. The movies will be directed by Bill Gordon, and the first part will be released in November 2011.
The second part of Breaking Down will be released in 2012.
Melissa Rosenberg will write the script for the movie, based on Stephenie Meyer’s novel. Rosenberg also wrote the scripts for the first three Twilight movies.
Until then, the third movie of the Twilight franchise, Eclipse, will be released in theaters this year, in July.
