Homer Simpson was designated as the best, coolest and important movie and tv character of the last 20 years, according to a poll conducted by Entertainment Weekly. The animated character managed to beat even the famous wizard, Harry Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe, which landed on the second position.
The third place is occupied by Buffy, the character played by Sarah Michelle Gellar in the Buggy – The Vampire Slayer tv show.
Tony Soprano ( James Gandolfini ) takes the forth place, and on five we can see the Joker ( Heath Ledger ) from the Dark Knight movie.
The Top 10 is completed by Rachel ( Jennifer Aniston ), Edward ( Johnny Depp ), Hannibal Lecter ( Anthony Hopkins ), Carrie Bradshaw ( Sarah Jessica Parker ) from Sex and the City and Spongebob from the animation tv show SpongeBob SquarePants.
