Brad Pitt and his business partner, Dede Gardner, have recently bought the rights of the The Imperfectionist novel, written by Tom Rachman.
So, the Plan B company will turn the book into a movie, about an English newspaper with offices in Rome.
Rachman himself worked as a corespondent in Rome, being a journalist graduate. The Imperfectionist was his debut novel.
The movie will present a group of reports that treasure more their personal dramas than the ones they should write about.
For the moment, there are no details regarding the movie’s cast.
