More present in tabloids these days than in movies, Lindsay Lohan has a new opportunity. The actress received a role in Inferno, a biographical movie about the adult movies star, Linda Lovelace.
According to Cinematical, the announcement should have been made during the Cannes Festival by director Matthew Wilder, but photographer Tyler Shields, a close friend of Lindsay, spoiled the surprise announcing that he was hired to make promotion pictures for the new project.
Love Lovelace, was the star of some of the most famous porn movie in history, Deep Throat. With more than 100 million dollars revenue, Deep Throat, released in 1972, is one of the best movies of all time and a reference point in the XXX history. This is the porn movies that had a plot, fancy sets and soundtracks.
Linda Lovelace lived a good life until she met Chuck Traynor, her future husband and also the man who forced her, as she confessed, to appear in porn movies. Becoming famous with the release of Deep Throat, the actress did not enjoyed the movie’s considerable revenue and started to make her exit out of this industry. At some point, she started to organize campaigns against pornography. She died in 2002, following a car crash.
Right now we don’t know when filming for this new movie will start.
