A new version of the UX platform, which was integrated in the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 phone will be available by the end of 2010.

UI Improvements
The Xperia X10 phones represents the first opportunity for users to use an interface that offers an unique and interactive experience. The interface is built on the Android OS and combines graphical elements, services and quality content with Sony Ericsson’s own applications like Mediascape and Timescape.
The new version o the UX platform which will be released by the end of 2010 will contain the 2.1 version of the operating system, HD video recording possibilities similar to the ones of Sony Ericsson Vivaz, wireless connectivity via DLNA and new versions of Timescape and Mediascape.
The user interface will be available to fans through the updating service available on the manufacturers web site. Sony Ericsson confirms the presence of this version of UX including on Xperia X10 and Xperia 10 Mini pro, starting with the last trimester of 2010.

Among the technical specifications of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 we mention the 8.1 mega pixels photo camera, GPS Receiver, TV Broadcast, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 3.5 mm slot and miniUSB port.
The smartphone’s dimensions are 119 x 63 x 13 mm, weights 1335 grams and has a 4 inch touch screen at a 852 x 480 resolutions and also multitouch support. It has a 1 GB internal memory and the users has the possibility to upgrade through a microSD card with maximum of 32 GB. The processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHZ.
