Nvidia announced the GeForce GTX 480M, a new visual processing unit for notebooks, and the most powerful on this segment, the first Fermi series GPU for mobile systems.
GeForce GTX 480M brings the DirectX 11 done right for notebooks, which means that it can be obtained a five times bigger performance than any other unit, because of the “tesslation” engine.
The Fermi architecture is now available for notebooks too, because they have three times as many Nvidia CUDA cores, users can now make the coding, scaling and editing of high definition video content in a shorter time.
