2K announced a possible partnership with NVIDIA to make available the PhysX technology in all versions of the Mafia 2 Game.
Mafia 2 international release date is set for August 27, for all platforms an the time remained until then can be used to integrate the PhysX technology offered by NVIDIA. Further more, the PC version of the Mafia 2 game will be the first that will use the NVIDIA APEX Clothing, a specially developed technology to simulate the clothes correctly, offering support for 3D Vision.
“We are very excited regarding the release of Mafia II for PC” Said Drew Henry, general manager at the GeForce division of NVIDIA. ” With the help of PhysX and 3D vision technologies players will be able to really live in the world of the Mafia.”
Developed by 2K Czech Studios, the Mafia 2 game is going to bring again in the spotlights the dark world of the mafia in during the 40-50s years. Mafia 2 is the sequel of one of the most successful video games, Mafia, released in 2002.
