The Intel Corporation introduced on the market new Intel Core Processors dedicated to elegant and ultra thin laptops. These laptops, extremely portable, offer a level of performance, battery autonomy and the connectivity required for constantly moving users.
Based on the Intel technology of 32 nanometers, the processors are with over 32% smaller and offer a superior performance, everything in a very easy and elegant design. These new processors also reduces the energy consumption with 15%, which means a longer battery autonomy.
” People always want laptops that offer style and performance, and the new 2010 Intel Core Ultra-Low Voltage processors for ultra thin laptops offers both features in a very elegant design” said Mooly Eden, Vice President and General Manager of PC Client Group, Intel. ” Intel’s attitude as a leader on the technology based on the production process on 32 nm, combined with the design and revolutionary architecture allowed the creation of thinner laptops, lighter, and faster than previous models, with an excellent battery autonomy. Because of the integration of the new processors in these laptops, they are not only just ultra-portable but also very fast”.
The processors, which are using the Intel Turbo Boost 4 technology will automatically increase performance, adapting to the solicitation level to ensure users a higher performance, when it is necessary. The Intel Hyper Threading technology is available in Intel Core i7 processors, Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i3, increases the speed of the system and helps to reduce latency when multiple tasks are run simultaneously. With Intel HD graphics, processors offer images at a higher quality level, liver colors and excellent video and audio HD playback.
Also, the recently announced Mobile Intel 5 Series chipset, designed to be used with ULV laptops, extends the support for multiple video and audio options and offers an improved protection of the data and the computer with the help of the Intel Anti-Theft technology.
More than 40 designs are expected from manufacturers like Acer, Asus, Lenovo and MSI, they being available at different prices, starting with June. For more information regarding these products you can also read the Intel Inside Scoop blog.
