After Bond 23 was indefinitely delayed, director Sam Mendes doesn’t lack work. He will team up with Robert Downey Jr and will make a movie about the Wizard of Oz, OZ The Great and Powerful, according to the Empire Magazine.

Robert Downey Jr. Will play the Wizard that will tell the famous story, this time from his point of view.

The movie will be based on a series of fragments from books about The Wizard of Oz, written by L. Frank Baum.

This movie is going to be produced by Disney, and Mitchell Kapner ( The Whole Nine Yards, Romeo Must Die ) will write the script.
