The son of the famous actor Michael Douglas, Cameron Douglas, was sentenced to five years in prison for drug trafficking. Judge Richard M. Berman sentenced him after he listen to Cameron’s plee. The young man apologized to his loved ones for making them live a “nightmare”.
The judge also said that this sentence is his last chance of rehabilitation and he has the opportunity now to treat his drug addiction disease.
Cameron Douglas was arrested last summer for methamphetamine possession, with intention to sell.
The son of Michael Douglas was arrested before, in 2007, for illegal possession of substances.
Cameron Douglas is the son of Michael Douglas and Diandra Morrell Douglas. He is also the nephew of the famous Hollywood veteran, Kirk Douglas.
