Specialists say that people who jog each day have a better cardiovascular rhythm and they are less exposed to heart problems.
People who want to practice a sport but they do not have the money for expensive equipment or gym subscription, they can improve their physical shape practicing the cheapest sport ever: jogging. But even jogging must be done properly, because, as every sport, it has it’s advantages and disadvantages.
One of the most important advantage is, without the doubt, the heart rhythm. Jogging is very important for the heart and specialists say that those who jog constantly are less exposed to heart problems and they have less changes of suffering a heart attack or stroke.
Then, it was established that it burns the same number of calories as riding a bike or swimming, but it has a plus: it also works the wrists and bone legs, making them harder.
This is very important for women who are exposed to diseases like osteoporosis.Another advantage is brain oxygenation. Jogging levels your brain activity and people who jog frequently are more mentally balanced.
Analyzing all these advantages, specialists established that people who jog frequently live with 5 to 7 years longer than people who don’t jog.
The main disadvantage, especially when you jog outside, targets the legs wrists,especially the knees and ankles, even if recent studies established that jogging doesn’t put as much pressure on the legs as it was initially thought.
These studies are valid, however, only for healthy people, because those who suffered injuries or they have wrists problems will continue to suffer. Wrists problem will also have overweight and obese people, for whom jogging is actually a health hazzard.
If however they want to practice jogging, they should, for a period, practice other sports like swimming, until they get in better physical shape and they will be able to jog.
Problem that are not used with cardiovascular exercises may face another dancer. They might abuse jogging and they can suffer, in some cases, even heart attacks.
If you never jogged before, specialists advice are to start with mild running, to get your heart to get used to pumping a larger volume of blood than usual. Women who decide to jog constantly are advised to use a special bra to stop the accelerated movement of their breasts, if they don’t their breasts might damage themselves irreversibly.
