iPhone working on Android

The Android operating system was, until not long ago, only available on a limited number of phones, but never on Android. Well, this has changed! The iPhone of the man in the video below works on Android operating system from Google. It still has some bugs, but it works! Further more, his iPhone now gives the user the option to choose between the two operating systems: the iPhone OS or Android.

However, the crack only worls only works on earlier versions of iPhone, but on 3G or 3Gs, however we hope that in the future this option will also be available to all users who want to change the OS provided by Apple. Still, the man’s success amazed many people.

The Android operating system was presented by Google in May, 2008. Since then and to this date, a number of phones using this operating system were released. Amongst them we mention some smartphones developed with HTC. Other companies have also started to use the Google operating system, like Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Dell, LG, Acer and more. But, until now, no Apple phone worked on the Android  operating system.

Also, the rivalry between Google and Apple is very high. Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, told the Apple employees, only a few days after iPad was released, that Google entered the Apple territory with the release of Nexus One.

“We’re not in the web searching business. They entered the phones market. Be sure that they want to kill iPhone but we won’t let them” said Jobs in February 2010, during a staff meeting.
