The representatives of the Facebook social networkign web site have recently deleted an account created under the name of Osama Bin Laden. The account created under the name of the world’s most wanted terrorist was however fake.
“People have always tried to create fake accounts under the names of famous people for good or bad resons and we have numerous technical measures designed to stop this” said Andrew Noyes, Facebook spokesman.
” Something these fake accounts go unnoticed, but we don’t have elements according to which the account in question is related to terrorism” also said Noyes.

Until the account was deleted, it recorded more than 1.000 fans.
