Bill Condon ( Dreamgirls ) is in advanced negotiations to direct the next two Twilight movies, according to Entertainment Weekly. This means that Condon will direct the Breaking Down inspired story, which will actually be two movies.
Summit Entertainment also considered Gus Van Sant, Mark Waters or Sofia Coppola, but they declined the offer.
The third movie of the franchise, Eclipse, will be released in theaters at the beginning of June. Bella Swann ( Kristen Steward ) will have to chose again between the vampire Edward Cullen ( Robert Pattinson ) and werewolf Jacob Black ( Taylor Lautner )
