Audi has made public official details about the new AUDI A8 L W12 Quattro, the successor of the A8 model.
The main differences between the two models are size and the W12 FSI engine.
The car is 5.627 mm long, 130 mm longer than other models. Also, the interior is bigger ( 3.122 mm ) and also the height .
Passengers who will stay on the back seat will enjoy a lot of luxury, we can mention adjustable seats, a central console that can be equipped with stuff like a table and it also has 4 areas air conditioning.
Let’s also mention the MMI system, 3D satellite navigation with Google Earth, Bang & Olufsen audio system with 19 speakers, panoramic roof and Valonea leather.
In the exterior, the radiator’s grid is single-frame with horizontal chromed bars, W12 logos and two exhausts. As standard the car comes with 19 inch alloy rims. More demanding customers can ask for 20 or even 21 inch rims.
The new W12 engine is based on the Audi A8 engine. He was however entirely rebuilt, now having a 6.2 liter capacity, with direct gas injection. It weights 247 kgs and develops a 368 KW / 493 CP power.
The speed gear has 8 steps and it’s Tiptronic and the auto reaches 100 kmph in 4.9 seconds, the maximum speed being 250 kmph. For now, Audi A8 L is only available with the W12 engine, however by the end of the year it could be equipped with any Audi A8 engine.
