Apple has sold more than 300,000 iPads already, the new tablet similar ti iPhone, since it’s release this weekend, in the United States.
The sales numbers until Sunday, including pre orders in all the United States, is more than 300,000. This gadget is currently not available in other countries but it will be available in Europe, Canada and Australia by the end of April.
Apple could sell almost 5 million iPad tablet PC’s in the next 12 months, according to analysts, considering the success recorded in the first day since the release.
Apple said that the users already downloaded around 1 million applications from the Apple store and more than 250,000 ebooks. When iPhone was released, 525,000 units were sold in the first weekend.
This is just the first generation of graphical tablets from Apple. They do not have 3G, only Wi-Fi. Even so, Apple forums are flooded with complaints on wi-fi connectivity, many users having problem with the local network, the signal detected being too low. Also with the release of their first phone there were problems with AT&T, problems that were caused by the huge number of activations.
