Tim Burton is focusing his attention on the famous Addams Family. The director wants to make a 3D animation movie with the famous characters.
Burton hopes to bring the Addams family back to the public. The last Addams family movie was made in 1993. Illumination Entertainment has already purchased the rights for the original comic book series created by Charles Addams. The producer of the movie will be Chris Meleandri.
He has directed animation movies before in his career. The most successful ones are The Nightmare before Christmas and Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride.
Tim Burton’s most recent movie, Alice in Wonderland 3D, was released at the beginning of March.
