Nvidia announced 3DTV Play for GeForce 3D Vision

After they got the basics for their own 3D technology, nVidia announced the merger of it’s 3D Vision technology with high-definition games.

NVidia announced the 3DTV Play technology which will allow players to hook up their PC ( GeForce GPU needed ) or laptop to any 3D TV with HDMI 1.4 and 1080p24, 720p60, and 720p50.

The games which will support Nvidia 3D vision are World Of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Avatar:The Game. The nVidia 3DTV play software will be available for sale separately this spring, at a price of $40. It will be available for free to current nVidia 3d Vision customers.

To promote the new 3D gadgets, nVidia has teamed up with Panasonic for a US tour, in 2010, named Panasonic Touch of the Future Tour.
