Since the beginning of life on Earth, humans have tried to understand the mystery of the world in which the Universe lives. Since then, a lot of discoveries have been made in astronomy, mathematics, physics with the purpose of finding an explication to all Universe phenomenons. Here’s a list with the biggest mysteries of the Universe.
Other Earths
Our star, The Sun, is just one of the trillions of stars in the Universe. So, there is a Sun for every 8 planets, if we make a simple math calculation we could say that in the Universe there are 8 times more planets than stars. Is there a chance that maybe just one of them is similar to Earth or it can sustain human life ?
It’s certain the fact that after the year 2000, there were discovered hundreds of planets outside our solar system. One of them are similar to our planet, for example the Gliese 518d planet. Let’s hope that in the next decade, being more technologically advanced, we will find the answer. Until then, it remains one of Universe’s mysteries.
Are there other Universes ?
About this question there is a very filled with controversy argument. The theory is that there are an infinite number of Universes, each being governed by it’s own set of laws. Many scientists do not agree with this theory, saying that is just speculation, because there is no piece of evidence of mathematical law to admit this theory. The people who sustian this theory continue to believe in it because there is nobody around who can prove the contrary.
Black Matter
The famous Albert Einstein equation E=MC2 is known as the equation f the century. Applied to space, there is an anomaly. When we use it to determine how much Matter there is in the Universe, we noticed that we only have 4% Matter. Where is the rest? Many think that the rest is black matter. Where is this black matter? It’s everywhere, where there is no visible matter. What scientists now need to prove is that black matter does indeed exists.
The link between Earth and Mars
When we are talking about life on other planets, some say that we don’t need to get out of our solar system. It was always the belief that there is life on Mars, but that NASA keeps it a secret. Many photos made on this planet raised some serious questions about life on Mars: the pyramids on Mars. Also, it’s believed that once all the surface of the planet was covered by water. Is it possible that life existed on Mars? Our next trip to Mars hopefully will give us the answer.
Black Energy
The black energy is one of the biggest mystery in Universe, because it is believed that it exists around us, a fact that explains the anomalies in the gravitational law. By gravitational law, big things like galaxies should attract to each other, which is not the case, because they are moving independently. This is due to the fact that the Universe is extending very rapidly. The Black energy has an opposed effect to the gravitation, making things get away from each other. Mathematical calculations say that if it exists, black energy represents 74% of the entire Universe.
