Coolest Notebooks in 2010

Last year 30,2 million notebooks were sold world wide, 80% more than in 2008. For this year, market analysts estimate another increase like the one recorded in 2009.

Acer, Dell, Asus and HP are the manufacturers who sold the most last year and the areas where the highest sales were recorded are the United States and Western Europe, according to the Strategy Analytics market research company.

” This segment of PC’s will suffer another growth in 2010, a bigger one” said Peter King, analyst at Strategy Analytics. ” further more, more and more manufacturers are now notebook oriented” he added.

At the end of last year, the biggest manufacturer of cell phones in the World, Nokia, entered the notebook market with the release of Booklet 3G and Apple will release in April the iPad model. The first notebooks released were Asustek and Acer.
