Clint Eastwood announced that he will direct a movie inspired by the life of the FBI Founder J. Edgar Hoover, a true hero of the fight against crime in the United States.
The “Hoover” movie will be based on a script written by Dustin Lance Black, Academy Award winner for “Milk”.
J. Edgar Hoover had an important role in the birth of FBI, in year 1935, leading the institution until his death in 1972. Hoover was involved in many scandals over the years, being suspected for harrasment of some political leaders. According to some biographies, the first leader of the FBI was allegedly gay and a cross dresser.
